At West End Farm Kennels, located in the peaceful countryside of Buxhall near Stowmarket, we believe every dog deserves to be treated like family. From the moment your canine companion arrives, you’ll notice the difference that genuine care makes.
Our dedicated team of kennel assistants—Vicki, Tarnya, Janet and Jess—bring more than 40 years of combined experience in dog-care. Vicki and Tarnya both hold NVQ Level 2 qualifications in animal care, and Vicki even runs puppy-training classes at Ipswich Dog Training Club. Together they ensure your dog receives expert attention, plenty of playtime and the kindness that makes each stay special.
We know how important comfort and security are. That’s why our heated single kennels provide a cosy, private space for a dog staying on its own. If you’re bringing more than one dog and they like each other’s company, we offer larger, shared areas where they can stay together and enjoy plenty of open-space freedom.
Play is a part of every day here. Our kennel assistants take time for walks, supervised activity and social time in large play areas. We understand the importance of happy, exercised dogs, and we tailor each stay according to our guests’ needs and routines—including special diets, favourite foods, and any medication your dog may need. If pills or injections are required, we’re fully equipped to help.
Cleanliness and welfare are at the heart of what we do. We’re a working kennel proud of our standards—and you’re welcome to visit anytime during working hours. We don’t “put on a show” for inspections; the high levels of hygiene and animal welfare you’ll see are just part of everyday life.
